Who we are
SaltyDog Landscaping Pty Ltd (ABN 19 688 578 556) is a landscaping business based in Byron Bay NSW 2481, run by Darcy and the crew. This policy covers this website and any enquiry you send us through it. If anything here is unclear, get in touch using the details at the bottom of this page.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through this site it goes to our inbox, and nowhere else. What arrives is what you typed: usually your name, phone number, email address, suburb and a few lines about the job, along with the page you sent it from and the time. We keep it in that inbox so we can reply to you. Beyond that, this website does not collect anything about you automatically. There is no tracking and no cookies set by the site itself.
How we use it
We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry, put together a quote, and run the job if you decide to go ahead with us. That is the whole purpose. We do not use your details for marketing you did not ask for, and we do not sell them to anyone.
Who else sees it
Nobody, as a general rule. Two things are worth naming plainly. This site loads its fonts from Google Fonts and is hosted on Vercel, so those providers handle the standard technical traffic involved in showing you the page, the same way any website depends on the infrastructure it is built on. And if you follow our Instagram or Facebook links in the footer, you are on their platform from that point, under their own privacy policy, not ours.
How long we keep it
We hold onto your enquiry and any job details for as long as we reasonably need them, to deal with your enquiry or see the job through, plus a short period afterwards for our own records. If you would like us to delete what we hold on you, ask and we will, unless the law requires us to keep something longer.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will sort it out directly. If you are ever unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
